Today, Corporate Departments are playing increasingly important roles in companies. Its transversal nature requires a wide scope of competencies bringing together human resource management, leadership training, project and purchase management, risk forecasting, communications and quality of service management.
Managers in Corporate Departments are quickly becoming key players in the optimization and coordination of services that ultimately deliver quality and value to end users. In a regulatory framework, these managers must coordinate the different corporate functions, all the while respecting budgetary constraints and quality demands. Their role encompasses :

  • Purchase management, definition of specifications, budget follow-up,
  • Organization of hotel services and quality control,
  • Management of internal teams,
  • Logistics and asset management.

This training program, which delivers the Corporate Department Manager certificate in a social and sanitary organization, focuses on training managers to become independent and operational, capable of technological and legislatory monitoring and of proposing pertinent solutions to executive management teams.  Its specificity is to identify and concentrate on technical competencies and skills.
The program consists of 400 hours of theoretical lectures, structured in 6 modules:

  • Management skills and techniques – 42 hours
  • Purchase management  – 56 hours
  • Management – 77 hours
  • Lodging operations and restaurant management – 49 hours
  • Hotel asset and logistics management – 63 hours
  • Project management in social health services and sanitary organizations – 113 hours

Followed by 100 hours of field internship.
Admission requirements:

  • High school diploma, followed by 2 years of higher education (BTS, DUT, DEUG…), 120 ECTS or Level III professional certificate,
  • Self-taught individuals with minimum 5 years experience in an economics job within a socio-medical or sanitary institution. There is no minimum professional experience required for managers in the hotel and restaurant business. For these individuals, a placement test will be administered. Depending on their level, 1 to 3 additional modules will be proposed.

Admission procedure:

    • Completed application form (download)
    • Placement test for applications with Level III certificate
    • Admissions interview, at which time a personalized project will be developed, based on the applicant’s educational and professional background.
